Over 25 years ago my family moved to a homestead in Southwestern Wisconsin, and this has afforded so much opportunity to gain experience in expanding my knowledge of the fiber arts of spinning and knitting, soapmaking, raising dairy goats and, of course, growing and using herbs. This area has so many natives and invasives that thrive here, producing endless material for making oils, salves, tinctures and even great food! 

 

I think it's wonderful that so many people are realizing the benefits of herbs and I hope that some of these plant offerings catch your interest, and you have as much enjoyment of getting to know these herbs as I have had!
